Job Description for Chartered Accountant

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Chartered Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and taxation, with significant experience in managing financial reporting, audits, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

  2. Audit Management: Manage and coordinate audits, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.

  3. Tax Planning and Compliance: Develop tax strategies and manage tax compliance for the organization. Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.

  4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead budget preparation and financial forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

  5. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic insights to optimize financial performance.

  6. Internal Controls: Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.

  7. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

  8. Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on financial matters, contributing to strategic decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, audit management, and tax planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
